B. Unlawful campaign postings
(2) Any person who fails to remove his/her poster, sign, banner, or other campaign notice within four months of the main election in January shall, upon conviction, forfeit $50 for each such poster, sign, banner, or other campaign notice that is not removed.

The following are the certified candidates for Menominee Tribal Legislature and Tribal Police Chief. There are three (3) offices open for the Legislature. Two of those spots must be filled by Tribal Members who are residents on the Reservation.
Article IV, section 1(a) of the Menominee Constitution requires the Tribal Legislature to be composed of nine (9) members of the Tribe. Seven (7) of those seats must only be filled by tribal members who reside on the reservation. The remaining two (2) seats have no residency requirement. In the Main Election to be held in January 2012, only one off-reservation seat is available. Should two or more off-reservation candidates receive the highest votes, only one will be seated.
